Virginia Civil War Officer's Sword Belt (RICHMOND)

Description

Brand new Confederate Officer's Sword Belt with Virginia Officer's wreath and spoon buckle of the highest quality. This belt is hand cut and hand stitched using high quality American bridle leather, fully adjustable (36 or larger) via a simple hook device used on many Confederate belts showing the shortages of raw materials in the Southern manufacturing process. This belt is finished as a product of the RICHMOND  Arsenal denoted not only by the RICHMOND stamp but also by the use of the famous Richmond "bullet" stitch. The slings are sewn as found on this pattern belt, with a ring and sword hook on the front and with the rear sling sewn in place, as were the originals. The high quality wreath and spoon buckle was taken in on trade and is most probably from Hannover Brass (due to the copper content of the brass.).  Most items ship next day USPS.
