HUGE VINTAGE 1930s SHEAFFER DELUXE 1000 "OVERSIZE" LIFETIME BALANCE FOUNTAIN PEN
SHARP "1000" IMPRINT!
BIG, COMFORTABLE IN THE HAND, SMOOTH WRITER!
FULLY RESTORED & READY TO WRITE!

The pen is in overall USER GRADE vintage condition.
The trim is in excellent condition, but there are some scratches and nibble marks to the body of the pen
There is also a crack in the butt end of the pen where it may have been dropped at one time but it is stable
This pen has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and tested.
The pen measures 5 1/2" in the capped position.
The pen's lever-fill system works smoothly and fills with ink as designed with a newly installed sac.
The section has GOOD transparency to determine the amount of ink remaining
The 14K GOLD "WAVERLY" nib of the pen has the expected gentle upturn at the end and is FINE in size.
The imprint on the nib states "Sheaffers, Lifetime, Reg US Pat Off, Made in USA, 4736597".
The imprint on the pen states "W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co, Fort Madison Iowa USA, Patented in USA, 1000".
