I collect old colts, A real ammo box like this would cost 00, (if you could ever find one!) I don’t have that kind of money, so I decided to make my own REPO box for display purposes. Some friends of mine looked at it and said I should put them up on eBay for other collectors. The box is even sealed with wax. I took the photos of the inside before I sealed up the box, so this box will come sealed, If you want to open it up for display, just cut the sealed paper around the seam. ( or I can do it for you) A Great item for any reenactor with a colt Navy or Army!
