Sheaffer’s Lifetime OS Flattop In Black Fine Point Restored!

Offered here is a beautiful Sheaffer lifetime flattop fountain pen in black celluloid. I believe this is the era when they had tubes they plugged to make pens as seen by the “white dot” at the top, you can see the solvent weld seam! This pen shows a tiny bit of use, but the trim and surfaces are pretty much pristine. There is an ever slight wave to the lever, you can see it in the pictures, I mention it for accuracy, but it does not distract either from the aesthetics or function. This one has. Even disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, aligned, tested, and the large fine point lifetime 14k nib writes flawlessly. It’s one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Typically these were used hard and you find them with brasses trim, cracked caps, threading issues, etc… this one is in beautiful condition.
