    Description

Sheaffer Lifetime Triumph Balance pen circa late '40s in blue plastic. Sentinel model with glossy steel cap with gold filled clip and band.
This is the big fat pen, the largest size made, a touchdown filler from the period before the TM ("Thin Model").
The cap appears perfect, with no dents or dings. The blue barrel has a crack at the back and some scratches. The big Triumph nib is great, with nice platinum masking.
As found, unrestored, will need restoration in order to fill. Also, with the crack, its pneumatic filling system may never function to capacity. Length about 5 1/4 inches.
