SHEAFFER IMPERIAL MODEL 2662 ULTRAMARINE BLUE FOUNTAIN PEN NEVER INKED MINT COND

Description

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 1996 Mint Condition, New Old Stock, Never Inked Sheaffer Imperial Model #2662 Fountain Pen in Ultramarine Blue color with 23K Gold Electroplated Trim. I consider this fountain pen in New Old Stock Condition, Never Inked, Mint, in the original box with plastic sleeve and Sheaffer documentation.
NOTE: This Sheaffer Imperial color was in production from 1995 to 1996. Arguably, this color is the most desirable of the late Imperials produced.
This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks, or repairs with the cap always securing to the barrel. The cap has the Gold Filled "Loss Proof" Spring-loaded Clip that displays the White Dot in perfect condition. The sides of the clip are stamped with, "SHEAFFER U.S.A.". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. There is no brassing or wear to the cap or the clip and cap banding. This Sheaffer Model 2662 Imperial Fountain Pen measures 5 1/2" in length capped and 5 3/4" posted.
The filling system can use Sheaffer style cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink via the included ink converter
The 23K gold electroplated Sheaffer Nib has a Medium point measuring roughly .80mm when measuring with digital calipers. I have not written with this Sheaffer Imperial as I wanted to keep it in Mint, New Old Stock, Never Inked Condition for the next collector.
Come with the original box with Sheaffer documentation. The box and papers are in mint condition.
These Sheaffer Imperial Fountain Pens are becoming more and more collectible. Collectors love the Inlaid style nibs and these pens are steady workhorses for writing long periods. Refunds:
Item must be returned within 30 days of receiving it and in the same condition as received. The item cost will be refunded. (Buyer pays all shipping and insurance). Item must be returned with Delivery Confirmation. Item must be returned to qualify for a refund. I do not give refunds for uninsured items if they get broke in shipping. ( I do pack carefully, I do not want them to arrive broken.) Some of my listings include insurance on shipping. Please make sure they do, if not please request it, if you would like it added.
