    Description

    Sheaffer black touchdown desk pen. This is an interesting pen. Correct firm X-fine to fine "Sheaffer 3 Made In USA" Balance era open gold nib and Balance style feed. Lightly ambered inkview window. Nice imprint. Very light use or drawer wear. Touchdown releases. An example of Sheaffer using up parts in the 1948-49 period as later examples had the 33 nib.  Nice pen.
