    Description

Union Army cartridge box belt brass eagle. Fairly well polished. Make two small cuts in your cartridge box belt where it sits on the center of your chest, put the loops for this through the cuts and tie off the back with some sort of twine - if you were wondering how these attach.
I did classroom demonstrations and re-enactments for about 25 years and kept my gear and uniform in good shape with some wear and tear. It is time to sell it all, so see my other auctions to totally outfit and equip yourself into the 20th Maine (or pretty much any other Union infantry regiment). This also allows you to avoid the abuse heaped on newbies and their straight-from-the-sutler uniform and equipment. Ask if you have any questions. Sorry, due to massive increases in shipping costs, I can no longer combine shipping.
People also asked for condition specifics: Not much to say on this one. It is a brass eagle emblem for your cartridge box belt. Nothing here is mint. I did a few hundred demonstrations for school kids and more than a few re-enactments. This stuff has been to Gettysburg (Not the actual battle or the movie, but you get the idea) so there is some wear and tear, and the brass will always have a hint of brass polish. You might notice that I mention brass polish a lot - If you do re-enactments, you will become very familiar with polishing.
