Description:
This is a new old replacement stock left/driver's side rear quarter center wheel arch repair panel for 1955-59 Chevrolet/GMC panel truck applications. This repair panel is in good structural condition with no large dents or rust hole damage. It is intended to repair the upper wheel arch/lip on the rear quarter panel. As previously stated, there is some surface rust due to moisture and humidity where this panel had been stored for years. However, the sheet metal is solid and it will clean up nicely with a trip to the sandblaster or chemical dip. This is not a perfect panel and will require some minimal clean up before installing.
There may me some light pitting in isolated areas after removing surface rust.
This is a period correct, heavy gauge sheet metal that surpasses the quality of any modern panels, if even available new. Do not miss out on this hard to find and time saver part for your restoration.
