India - 1972B Proof Silver 10 Rupees - Nice!

Description

KM-187.1 Silver 10 Rupees 1972B in Proof condition, still sealed in the capsule of issue with Mint envelope of issue. The envelope and capsule are somewhat shopworn (capsule cracked -  the envelope edges are open as to not be able to hold the coin anymore), but the coin looks great. Coin has just a bit of toning while the envelope has tape, stains, writing and tears (as if this really matters to anyone). Anyway, the mintage is listed at only 3,655 and we're not sure what this really is according to KM. Definitely a "B" Mint and Proof but the mintage doesn't match for the first Proof listed and the second one doesn't list any mintage at all. Anyway, this is an extremely popular coin. S
