Up for auction is a hand crafted and fully lined Christmas Stocking.  The picture is a genuine Hummel design and shows a little boy/angel playing the violin.
On the top it reads "NAME".  You can remove the thread and write a name with a glitter pen if you like or add cross stitches for a different name.----
Let me know and I can also add a name to the top to personalize the stocking for you at no additional charge.
It measures 16" tall and 10" across the bottom.
This is based on an M.J. Hummel work and has the Hummel signature on the bottom.
It is completely lined and has green  piping around the outside. The back is completed with a white fabric.
Included in this listing is a picture of a kit for this stocking from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection which is shown for reference only as this stocking does not come with a kit.
These kits are made in the USA.
These were hand crafted sales models to a needpoint kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. The needlework for these was done in Madeira Portugal.
learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
"Due to the death of our owner, Alan S. Getz, JCA, Inc. has ceased operations indefinitely.
We would like to thank our loyal customers who have supported JCA for over 50 years.
