    Description

    Here we have a handmade period correct Civil War era candle lantern. It is made from red oak and glass, with brass harware and a copper heatshield and bail. It measures about 12" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 5 1/2" deep and has a movable candle base to light and extinguish the candle. Access to replace the candle is gained by removing the pegs from the top dowels so the top can be removed.
