    Description

    On consignment with us is this gray wool flannel roll-up style housewife. This item has been used but remains in overall good condition. Has three small (moth?) holes on the wool body (
    see photos
    ).  These holes are small:  the two round ones are about 1/16” in diameter and the larger oval one is 1/8” long x 1/16” wide. These holes are in the wool element only and do not go through the housewife’s muslin lining.
    This item measures 12” long when fully unrolled and has three internal pockets made from maroon & tan check cotton shirting. Each pocket measures
    approximately
    3” deep. Comes with three large sewing needles (
    as seen in the photo
    ), one rather small sewing needle on the thread holder and a small safety pin.
    This housewife ties closed via two 12” long x 3/8” wide black wool tape ties
