    Offered here is a full size, museum quality replica of the unofficial medal given to the Davis Guard for the action at Sabine Pass, Texas, on September8, 1863. The originals were made by grinding the images from Spanish silver coins, then engraving them with the design shown. Ours are not made that way, but are still excellent replacements for the unattainable originals.
