    For sale is one new old stock drivers side hood surround repair panel.
    Correct for Corvettes 1968-1972
    The upper fender hood surround panel measures approximately 62" in overall length.
    It's made from original GM single strand Black fiberglass.
    The previous owner used it as a donor panel to cut off certain areas for repairs on other cars.
    Please look over the pictures to see where the cuts are.
    These areas showing missing pieces include the inside edge that the hood sits on.
    One area where the hood surround lip was not cut does show broken off pieces and loose fiberglass.
    Most of the rear area where the hood surround goes down to meet the fender is still there.
    This will be great for someone who has had the bonding strip area damaged, but has their hood surround lip salvageable.
    The underpart of the panel has some fibeglass surfacing and can use a coat of resin (see pictures).
    Aside from that, there are also light surface scratches due to being moved around.
    A
    s with any fiberglass body part, this piece will have to be refinished and proper body work must be done before it can be painted to ensure proper fitment
