    Description

LAST ONE! ANYMORE WILL BE SPECIAL ORDER! This Rifleman's cartridge box is a direct copy of the box made by the firm Wellborn, Nichols, and Oliver. One of the most prolific makers of accoutrements in the Western Confederacy, these products could be found in the hands of Confederate troops from Missouri to the Carolinas, and all across the South. The Rifleman's Box was rigged for belt use only with no buckles or fixtures for a shoulder sling. These boxes are complete with tins, a lead finial as were the originals and stamped with the circular Wellborn, Nichols & Oliver stamp, and their location, Dalton, Ga.  As with the originals, these boxes are all hand cut and hand sewn. Additional equipments from this manufacturer are available elsewhere and are also sold as they were issued, as a set! The leather is "struck through," meaning that it is dyes inside and both flesh and grain sides as was the English leather that was imported into the Confederacy for these original boxes. PayPal please. Check prices of hand sewn equipment, check my feedback, then bid with confidence. Quality reenactment items at reasonable prices. Other matching accoutrements are available here on eBay, combined shipping! Most items ship next day.
