Blem6- Up for auction are these "blemished" Civil War era Ration and/or poke bags, each order will contain the bags pictured. Pieced together from fabric left from other projects, fully functional. They work great for period money, rations as well as modern credit cards, cell phones etc. Excellentfor concealing modern medications and other needed items in the field.
While I do not have specific documentation of the item, I made these for myself and they work well and so, I figure that a soldier of the period may have fashioned something similar.
This auction will have exact bags pictured, made from fabric left from other projects. As such, they are pieced together and seams as shown. I call these "blemished" bags. Function perfectly,
new made and never used. Look at pics with yard sticks for sizes of the bags. Hand made and sewn on modern machine.
Great for soldier or civilian alike or Cowboy reenactors, CAS, living historians of the Victorian era. Heck, my wife and I use them for everyday usage!!
