Campaigner quality 1858 Civil War canteen sling. Although a fairly simple and unassuming item, the materials, construction and markings yield a truly authentic piece. Made from the correct weight, 100% cotton twilled, domestically milled cotton drill, these slings are properly folded and sewn with 100% natural, un-dyed cotton thread.
This sling is for 1863-, featuring correct TF Bayles NY Depot inspector marking in indelible ink, reproduced from an original using proper fonts.
