c 1958 Sheaffer Admiral Snorkel Fountain Pen, Restored

Description

The pen is in very good condition; it measures 5.6 inches in the closed position. There are no deep scratches, cracks, chips, splits or teeth marks on the pen body or cap, the end of the barrel has some posting scratches and a very short scrape, about 3mm long. The gold plated trim is good, with no plating loss, dents or dings. Sheaffer put a clear coating on the clips of some of the late model snorkel pens, the coating has come off part of this clip.  The Touchdown Snorkel filling system has been properly repaired and the pen fills as designed. The 14k #5 nib is a fine point; it’s been adjusted for smooth writing and proper ink flow. The imprint is on the cap, just above the band, it's excellent.
