1996 W.A. SHEAFFER LIMITED EDITION 0060/6000 COMMEMORATIVE FOUNTAIN PEN MINT

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Factory Sealed Never Inked W.A. Sheaffer Limited Edition 0060/6000 Commemorative Fountain Pen fitted with an 18K Solid Gold Nib. This fountain pen has never been taken out of the box, inked, comes with the original box, and documentation - I consider this pen New Old Stock and Mint Condition.
This Sheaffer Commemorative Limited Edition Fountain Pen was launched in 1996 and consisted of a limited edition of 6000 pens. Constructed from a solid brass rod with a layer of nickel-plated beneath the 23K gold electroplated finish, it is a distinctive writing instrument with significant heft. An intricate scrolled pattern has been engraved into the surfaces of the barrel and cap. The nib combines the two-tone beauty of 18K gold and a silver-colored palladium-plated chevron. As a finishing touch, each pen's individual serial number, in this case, 0060, and the W.A.Sheaffer Pen Co.Pat.No 896,861 are engraved near the lever. The W.A.Sheaffer commemorative pen comes in a chest-style box created from cherrywood. The top of the chest features the 1908 patent drawing of the lever-fill mechanism, etched into a lacquered brass plate. The Limited Edition fountain pen is packaged in a custom-designed presentation case lined with rich ebony satin, accompanied by a two-ounce refill bottle of Skrip ink. Also, accompanying the pen is the original Sheaffer documentation with a matching Limited Edition number booklet.
This Fountain Pen measures approximately 5 1/4" inches capped.
This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Commemorative Fountain Pen and is a Limited Edition 0060 of 6000. This Sheaffer has the Lever Filling system that has never seen ink.
The nib is marked 18K Sheaffer 750 and has a Medium point measuring .68mm when measuring with digital calipers. This Sheaffer 18K/750 Medium Nib has never been inked.
This Sheaffer Commemorative Fountain Pen does have the original box and documentation - it is in perfect condition with all documentation.
This Sheaffer Commemorative Limited Edition Fountain Pen is a very rare example and certainly a treasured writing instrument for one's collection. I would consider this Sheaffer Targa CP1 to be New Old Stock, Never Inked, and in Mint Condition. A marvelous addition to your writing arsenal collection. Rarely do we find these Limited Edition still Factory Sealed, Never Opened, in the Original Box and Documentation. You will be getting a perfect example!

The Global Shipping Program is currently the only accepted shipping service that I use for non-domestic shipments.
Refunds:
Item must be returned within 14 days of receiving it and in the same condition as received. The item cost will be refunded. (Buyer pays all shipping and insurance). Item must be returned with Delivery Confirmation. Item must be returned to qualify for a refund. I do not give refunds for uninsured items if they get broke in shipping. ( I do pack carefully, I do not want them to arrive broken.) Some of my listings include insurance on shipping. Please make sure they do, if not please request it, if you would like it added.
