1941 Sheaffer Tuckaway Fountain Pen, Restored

Description

The pen is in very good condition; it measures 4.2 inches in the closed position. and 5.25 inches with the cap posted. There are no heavy or deep scratches, cracks, chips, splits or teeth marks on the pen body or cap, there are two minute chips just past the end of the gold barrel. The threads are excellent on both ends. The gold plated trim is very good, there are no dents or dings on the cap or barrel. The barrel has a small area of plating loss, it can be seen in the photos, there's also a little plating loss at the very end of the barrel. The Plunger filling system has been properly repaired and the pen fills as designed. The 14k two-tone Lifetime nib a fine point; it’s been adjusted for smooth writing and proper ink flow. The cap imprint is excellent.
